Kim

Kim Burnett has been working as an Osteopath using both structural and cranial osteopathy for over 30 years. She is a member of the General Osteopathic Council and Institute of Osteopathy. Having worked at the Natural Health Centre since it opened in 1991 she took over the running of it in January 2008.

She enjoys treating everyone from babies to the elderly and has a particular interest in treating people suffering with headaches and pain in pregnancy.
Having trained as a Naturopath, Kim can also give advice on nutrition and lifestyle changes that will affect your overall health.

Outside of her practice Kim enjoys long distance cycling and walking, playing golf and gardening.

Marcus

Marcus Senior BA(Hons)LicAcMBAcC – Practiced since 1997

Qualified in Acupuncture at The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM), Member of The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC).

Studied at The Zhejiang College of Chinese Medicine, Hang Zhou, China in Acupuncture, Tui Na and Qi Gong.

Studied Qi Gong and Tai Chi Chuan for 15 years and have taught for 9 years.

Studied 3 years advanced Qi Gong with The Chinese Internal Arts Association (CIAA).

Studied channel theory and trained in Balance Method Acupuncture with UAT in 2016.

I have been treating for over 20 years and it never ceases to amaze me how powerful acupuncture can be. Outside of the clinic I enjoy practicing Qi Gong and Yang style Tai Chi Chuan. 

Tamsyn

Tamsyn Lay is a graduate of the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in 2014. She is also qualified in dry needling, taping, soft tissue massage and release and the prescription of orthotics.

Tamsyn is passionate about treating patients from childhood to the elderly and is a registered practitioner with The Pelvic Partnership treating pregnant ladies with pelvic girdle pain.
When she is not at work, Tamsyn enjoys spending time with her family and training her young horse.

Alex Rawlings

Alex Graduated from McTimoney College of Chiropractic in 2001, where she was a practical skills and clinic tutor until 2007, working in Newbury, Abingdon and London.

Now practising as Manual therapist and a member of the complementary medical Association, Alex uses a number of techniques including gentle manipulation, soft tissue work, remedial massage, shiatsu and mobilisation to rebalance and realign the body and relieve musculoskeletal problems, she enjoys working with patients to achieve and maintain optimal function.

In her spare time Alex is a trustee and volunteer for stroke care for Newbury and West Berks, helping stroke survivors negotiate their post stroke issues, she enjoys travel and is a member of the Newbury Twin Town Association.

Patricia

Pat has been practising reflexology for over 20 years and has, more recently, also qualified in Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage (RLD).

She enjoys meeting people and helping them to improve their health and wellbeing, both physically and mentally to improve mind, body and spirit.

Outside of the clinic, Pat uses her experience to volunteer as a reflexologist for a local cancer charity.

Emma

Emma has a long established Newbury practice which has grown and developed over 25 years. Originally qualifying from the highly respected London College of Homoeopathy in Regents Park, she then continued her training at the Practical College of Homeopathy. She also gained practical experience through shadowing a medical homoeopathic doctor in India which has resulted in a well grounded practical approach to Homoeopathy which is deeply rooted in a classical training.
Emma then furthered her training in nutrition and intolerances through using the SCIO bio resonance machine.

Emma lives in Somerset but has a deep passion for her Newbury practice where she treats three generations of some families. She has a dedication and commitment to creating longstanding patterns of health and resilience. Her work with humanitarian causes has given her a broad understanding of human suffering which she feels has enriched her clinical practice.

Emma is now working remotely online as well as at the Natural Health Centre once a month on Saturday afternoons.

Ceri

Ceri qualified in 1989 after studying Beauty Therapy full time for 3 years. She went on to work for a large chain of salons for 6 years, a luxurious Beauty Spa for one year and successfully owned and ran a large Hair and Beauty salon for 8 years.

Treatments include waxing, eyelash extensions, eyelash tinting, eyelash perms, gel nails, massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, Decleor facials, non-surgical facelifts, electrolysis, red vein, skin tag & milia removal, manicures & pedicures.

Fiona

Fiona has been working at The Natural Health Centre since 2004. Her training was undertaken in the UK under the Dr. Vodder School of Manual Lymphatic Drainage with the aim of helping post cancer patients.
The work that Fiona now does includes lymphoedema, lipoedema, swelling from injury and surgery and post liposuction treatments along with shorter detox plans.

Away from MLD Fiona is married with 3 children and enjoys the outdoor life with dogs and horses.

Mel

Mel is a registered Osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council and is insured by the Institute of Osteopathy. She graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a Bachelor’s degree in Osteopathic Medicine in 2013. Since graduating, Mel has since completed a foundation level course in cranial osteopathy with the Rollin E Becker Institute.
Mel has a interest in working with those with physical disabilities and has previously done further research into lower limb amputees with prosthetics.
Outside of practice, Mel is a mum to her daughter Everly, who takes up most of her time! She also likes to keep fit and has previously been a keen lacrosse player.

Mel is currently on maternity leave and will return in April.

Isabel

Isabel has been involved with the Natural Health Centre for a number of years, having trained as an osteopath at the University College of Osteopathy in London. She has developed a particular interest in patients of all ages on the autism spectrum, as well as women’s health problems. She also has a special interest in musicians and how playing different instruments, voice and posture affect the body.

Additional techniques available within osteopathy include Harmonics, Still and Cranial osteopathy. These are very gentle forms of treatment, suitable for all ages, which can be incorporated into osteopathic techniques or separately depending on the individual.

Isabel also has a background in badminton coaching, plays tennis, is a keen gardener and previously worked with horses and dogs. Outside of the practice, Isabel is mum to two teenagers and a menagerie of animals.
